VJ Day 2025 – Abergele Remembers
On Thursday 15th August, Abergele marked VJ Day with respectful wreath-laying ceremonies at St Michael’s Church and St George.
Mayor Cllr Tracey Brennan and Deputy Mayor Cllr Alan Hunter laid wreaths in honour of those who served in the Asia–Pacific theatre during WWII.
A special thank you to Carl Bishop for parading the town standard with pride and dignity.
We remember their courage, sacrifice, and service.
